    Description

    For sale is a vintage Scottish wool beret with a cap/hat badge with the motto “Per Mare Per Terras”, which means “By Land By Sea” and is the motto/crest of the MacDonald clan.
    The pin is cast metal of some kind, I believe it is silver, as it polished somewhat with a polishing cloth. It is in very good condition.
    The beret is wool, but is old and has some moth-holes and is a little discolored. It measures 12 1/2”, opening is 11”.
