    Description

    This vintage bagpipe parade uniform from Scotland is in good condition. It is made of heavy blue wool that has faded somewhat, as shown in the photographs. The jacket is embellished with metallic braid and silver thistle buttons. The caps on the epaulettes at the shoulders are detachable. The sleeves measure 25” from shoulder to edge of cuff, and the back measures 26”. There is some staining on the lining. The jacket would benefit from a dry cleaning. I believe this piece made by “SCOTTO” dates from the 1940’s.
