Banko is a traditional Japanese pottery handed down since the Edo period.
Banko-yaki earthenware pots account for nearly 80% of the domestic market share of earthenware pots.
This earthenware pot has been used for a long time for its excellent heat resistance.
It is easy to cook rice at home as if it were cooked in a kamado (earthenware pot).
It can also be used for cooking that requires high heat because it is heat resistant over an open flame.
